ZOE CURLETT BIOG

 

Zoë hails from Cheshire, and trained in musical theatre for three years at LaineTheatre Arts.

 

Upon leaving college, Zoë appeared in Aladdin at the prestigious Players Theatre London. She then went on to appear with Anthony Newley in the UK tour of Scrooge.

Since then Zoë has played in the West End as Cosette in Les Miserables (Palace Theatre) and as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. This is a show Zoë has been associated with for several years, having played the role of Christine in the UK and Ireland tour and she was also invited to sing the part for the Queen’s gala performance at the Liverpool Empire.

Zoe has also played the part of Jellylorum in the UK and European tour of Cats.

 

Other credits include Sally Whittle in a revival of Zip Goes a Million (Covent Garden Festival), Julie Jordan in Carousel (St David’s Cardiff), La Rapina in L’Opera Seria (Batignano Opera Festival), Polly Browne in Sandy Wilson’s The Boyfriend (UK Tour), Cassandra in The Balance of Power, The Jack Tinker Tribute (London Palladium), South Pacific (Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) and the title role in David Croft’s musical Ann Veronica (Covent Garden Theatre Museum).

 

Recordings include Oliver, Carousel, South Pacific, Follies and Zip Goes a Million.

 

Zoe  took part in the 25th Anniversary  Concert performance of Les Miserables  at the O2 arena and the 2010 Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium. She was also involved in the Classical Brits at the Albert Hall. In 2012 Zoe took part in the vocal recording of the  feature film of Les Miserables.

Zoe recently played the role of Lily in The Secret Garden at the Kings Head Theatre London- which is to transfer to the Greenwich Theatre in April as part of the children’s festival/ UK tour. And the Fairy in Cinderella- Woking.
