Come and enjoy the challenge of performing this show in one week!
This course combines Drama, Dance & Singing. It’s the perfect opportunity to develop or expand new & existing talents in a fun, exciting and fully supervised environment.
WEEK ONE: 1st – 5th August
WEEK TWO: 8th – 12th August
WEEK THREE: 15th – 19th August
Summer Schools provide the perfect activity course for young people who enjoy the Performing Arts. The challenge will be to produce a show to perform at the end of the week. This year’s show is ‘HONK!’ Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale has been transformed into a modern musical comedy. HONK! tells the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite prejudice from his family and neighbours. Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry cat, Ugly must find his way, while his loving mother, Ida searches for him. HONK! with all of its wonderful humour, charm and message of tolerance, is perfect for all ages.
There will be the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the production – acting, dancing & singing and maybe even some prop making too! The courses comprise of both junior & senior levels and are run by qualified and experienced instructors.
£130.00 per child per week
£125.00 for Stageworks members

Full payment must be made by the first day of the course.
To qualify as a Stageworks member, you must be currently attending classes at Stageworks Theatre School and/or Ballet School
